Custom clearance

A customs representative (broker) is a Russian legal entity included in the special Register of the Federal Customs Service (FCS), a professional participant in the customs services’ market. The customs representative must have a provision of security for payment of customs duties, as well as civil liability insurance.

IMPORTO COMPANY PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF CUSTOMS CLEARANCE IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION:

• declaration of goods (under an agreement with a customs representative);
• consulting services (customs consulting):
  – preliminary assignment of the customs tariff codes (Customs Union Customs Codes) to the goods;
  – determination of the required customs procedure;
  – calculation of customs payments, fees, taxes;
  – forming of a set of documents required for customs clearance;
  – obtaining preliminary classification decisions (in necessary);
  – elaboration of foreign economic contracts, etc.
• carrying out the necessary commodity expertise in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other authorities for the purposes of customs clearance;
• preparation of the necessary documents (certificate, declaration) to prove the conformity of goods to the safety requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union (to the requirements of Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union);
• obtaining various permits, certificates and resolutions from governmental authorities and licensing bodies required for the import of goods into the Russian Federation;

• registration of export customs declarations in the EU, as well as in China;
• forming a set of documents required to confirm the customs value;
• • forming of a set of documents required to obtain preferences in the payment of customs duties;
• proof of the declared customs value during passing an additional inspection of the declaration by the customs authority;
• application of the required marking at the foreign partners’ warehouses, as well as at the customs warehouses in the Russian Federation;
• legal support services in customs disputes in arbitration courts, as well as in general jurisdiction courts in the Russian Federation.
