CARGO SEA TRANSPORTATION WITH Importo Group

We offer the following services related to the forwarding of goods by sea:

• booking of space on the vessel for container transportation;
• pre-carriage of the required type of container for stuffing to the shipper;
• approval of the bill of lading with the sea line;
• freight forwarding in commercial seaports: St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk, Vladivostok;
• customs transit (formerly the VTT procedure) to any point in Russia for delivery under customs control;
• customs clearance in the ports: Saint-Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk, Vladivostok;
• stevedoring, tally services;
• cargo insurance;
• on-carriage of the container from the port to the consignee;
• return of an empty container to the sea line stock.

There is an option for the delivery of containerized cargo from China, South Korea, Japan, and other South-East Asian countries to the port of Vladivostok (sea transportation), then as part of an high-speed container train to Central Russia.

MAIN ADVANTAGES:

• relatively low cost of transportation due to the low cost of maintaining the fairway, by contrast with railway and road transport;

• the impossibility of sea carriage in winter, after the close of navigation, domestic transportation is carried out only during the navigation period, and its duration in the harsh climate of the North and North-East is less than six months;
• long delivery time.
